Educational Support Programs
Educational Support Programs are designed to provide enrichment and interactive education and teach youth and adults the basic educational skills that will help them be successful adults in society. One-on-one tutoring is the core of our adult literacy program. We provide free, confidential, and individualized instruction to adults seeking to improve their skills in reading, writing, math, and English. These classes are taught by certified teachers.
Adult services include:
GED Preparation
Educational skills assessment
Math, reading and writing brush-up
Individualized instruction
Computer-assisted learning
Basic computer skills
The Community Service Project
The Community Service Project includes character, personal, social, and economical development. The purpose of this program is to create an alliance between the participants and various members of the community the opportunity to help those in need and form life-long relationships while promoting self sufficiency and increasing self- esteem and self worth of participants.
Employment Assistance Program
Employment Assistance Program provides the participants the tools necessary to successfully compete for jobs in today’s economy. By working collaboratively with local employment agencies, human resources departments, and local businesses we should be able to refer our participants to jobs they are qualified to fill.

Health Education Programs
The Health Fair
The Health Fair will provide the participants with opportunities for increasing health awareness, knowledge, motivation, and skills; and to support change which will lead to healthier life-styles, habits and behaviors. The program will combine educational and experiential approaches designed to empower and enhance health awareness.
The Food Pantry
The Food Pantry focuses on offering and providing food in various forms to participants.Through the implantation of the food pantry, we will provide uncooked, fresh food items for participants that will help them to sustain until their next meal. The purpose of this program is to reduce the number of hungry children and families in the community.
